By popular demand, here is an in-print version of Yoga Popular's Lower Back Pain class. I have shortened the class into an easy 9-movement sequence that effectively includes side-body, lower back, hip, and hamstring stretches to ease tension along that lower spine.
Professional Tips
1. With each posture, practice pulling in your lower ribs and lifting up with your tailbone. This very specific alignment cue will firm your waist and ensure you activate the correct muscles rather than miss them.
2. Need super speedy recovery? The Wall Stretch and the Shower Stretch can easily be done at any point in time during your day when back pain may sneak up on you.
